International Airlines Group asset reunification

Following the merger of British Airways Plc ("British Airways") with Iberia, former British Airways shareholders now hold shares in the newly created company International Airlines Group ("IAG"). British Airways has now delisted on the stock market and shares in this company have now ceased to exist. Entitlement to any unclaimed dividends or bond payments in British Airways remains.

If you have received a letter from Georgeson or IAG then you may be entitled to unclaimed cash and shares.
IAG has appointed Georgeson to help find and reunite individuals with their shareholdings and any payments due on them.

Former British Airways holders (now shareholders in IAG) who have not updated their records with the Company Registrar may have un-cashed dividend payments and other additional payments that have not been claimed. This may be due to changes of address, changes of name, or potentially through the death of the shareholder without executors being aware of personal or financial dealings.

Georgeson will facilitate the claiming of these payments and arrange for the Share Registrar to be updated with the correct details, so that further dividend payments will be received. Should a holder wish to sell their new IAG shares, Georgeson can also arrange this.

In order to sell your shares, you first need to ensure that you are resident in one of the Permitted Jurisdictions in which Georgeson/Computershare can trade on your behalf. If you are not resident within one of these, the default option will apply and you will be sent a share certificate or account statement confirming your share entitlement.
